NBHA made a change on how points are awarded for 2014 Show Season. Points will be awarded in the 5D format.

Please review the example:

Example: 1D time- 15.000 ( Fastest time -MEMBER time)

2D time- 15.500 (add .500 to fastest time)

3D time- 16.000 (add 1.000 to fastest time)

4D time- 16.500 (add 1.500 to fastest time)

5D time- 17.000 (add 2.000 to fastest time)

If two or more racers run the same time points are added together and divided by the number of racers.

If a rider runs two horses and falls in the same division, points will ONLY be awarded for one entry, the fastest ran time.

This is just the format of how points are awarded NOT how show monies are paid out. Remember just because you place for money does not mean you always get points. Nor does it mean you get points to get money. NBHA made the 2014 change so more of us could qualify for the NBHA WORLD SHOWS. If you have any questions just ask your Director.
